Often students go to vocational school when they leave the orphanage system.  However, with very little money, poor housing, and no family support, many of them do not even complete their first semester.  Students who are sponsored through the Tilsit Orphan Education Fund have a mentor and receive money for living expenses.  $90 covers a student's expenses for a month.
